These days it feels like everyone—self included—is labouring to try and command these grand sweeping statements about the world; bromide pontifications; knitty little miniatures of society all scrunched up.
I think there’s something to take away from this here when you consider it alongside that David Sejusa tweet from a while back. Everyone knows everything about everyone—superficially—and they expect to spontaneously rally around the chatter that ensues.
