I think that the ideal organization is one similar to a corporation.
There is a “board of directors” whose presence is qualified by a minimum amount of shares or value invested in the prosperity of the organization and its objectives. This is a massive simplification of what I mean to convey. Shares in this case are not monetarily determined. Your competence, involvement and integrity are functions of your investment in the organization or in folk terms your community. These are the qualities that determine your “say”, or agency and authority in a group. If it can’t work then it must be an issue with the culture.
